I've been asked to post the recipe for one of my own Signature Cocktails:
I created this a few years ago to showcase some of the trends in culinary and cocktail flavors. You can use your favorite Scotch or ask for it that way: - A GRANT Tartan (William Grant's) - A RED Tartan (Johnny Walker Red) -A PINCH Tartan (Pinch)... etc I hope you get a chance to try one... or more. THE TARTAN 2 oz. Scotch (William Grant & Sons) 1 oz. St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur 1⁄2 oz. Canton Ginger Liqueur 1/4 teaspoon of Ginger Simple Syrup Dash of Angostura Bitters Candied Ginger as Garnish
Chill a martini glass In a shaker, mix all liquid ingredients, add syrup, bitters and shake well When chilled, strain into a cocktail glass Garnish with Crystallized Ginger
